Development of graphomotorics of preschool children with a focus on working habits

The work focuses on the issue of graphomotor skills in preschool children with an emphasis on work habits and their development before starting school. The aim of the work is to find out how the created program focused on the development of work habits affects the level of graphomotor skills and also the motivation to draw in general. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the period of preschool child with emphasis on the development of graphomotor skills, work habits. In the practical part, the created program is described and verified.
Preparation of a preschool child for the entrance to elementary school

This dissertation adresses the issue of preparation and readiness of a preschool child before his/her entrance to elementary school. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is concerned with the definitions of basic terms, such as school maturity and school readiness. The second chapter is dedicated to developmental psychology of a preschool child. The third chapter is concerned with diagnosis of a preschool child from the position preschool education, and the last chapter is centered on a child at risk in elementary school. The practical part is dedicated to qualitative experimental investigation which obser- ves the advancement of teak parts in selected sample of children from normal and spe- cial class of kindergarten school and it is supported by an intervention program.
Stimulation programs for preschoolers and children with postponded school attendance

The thesis is dedicated to stimulations programs for preschool children and children with postponed schooling. The work is divided into five chapters. The first few chapters are focused on the information which is necessary for understanding the topic. These are about a psychological definition of pre-school age, as well as the issue of entering into a school, followed by a chapter about diagnostics, which usually come before the stimulation. Another chapter is focused on the actual stimulations programs, it contains their theoretical description, but also the information needed to create them. In the fifth chapter, an example of stimulation program was created. Its functionality is supported by the observations at the beginning of the program and during the program. The aim is to make a guide about creating of stimulation programs in the frame of the preschool preparation.

Graphmotor preschool child

The thesis analyses problems of pre-school age children graphomotoric skills development, prevention of writing skills disorders and possibilities how to help to children with graphomotoric disorders. The aim of the thesis is to describe pre-school age children graphomotoric skills development and to prove the positive influence of stimulative programmes on children graphomotoric skills level.The research results create the base for practical suggestions. The theoretical part solves pre-school age children development questiones considering graphomotoric skills development, beginning with writing and correct working habits for drawing and writing. It also analyses school maturity problems and children´s readiness in connection with the pre-education curriculum. The practical part consists of two items: the first one is preventive stimulative programme methodical material for pre-school children graphomotoric skills development, the second part is a project researching pre-school children graphomotoric skills levels in a particular kindergarten class before and after realizing the preventive stimulative programme with the sample of four children
